The Children's Health Guild Gala was in full swing last night at the Round Hill Country Club in Alamo, CA. This year's theme was “A Night at the Beverly Hills Hotel” and guests were encouraged to come dressed to the nines in their most glamorous gowns and dapper dinner jackets. The Beverly Hills Hotel offers the glamorous ambiance of Hollywood's Golden Age and the guests tonight did not disappoint. Hollywood might be brimming with luxury hotels but few of them are as iconic old-school Hollywood as the subtly pink Beverly Hills Hotel.
The gala evening helps provide the CHG‘s worthy beneficiaries, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and George Mark Children's House in San Leandro, with the support they need to continue top quality care for pediatric patients, regardless of their ability to pay. To date, CHG has raised $2 million for their two beneficiaries.
As we were planning for this event, one of the requests from the event chair was to have our postcard prints match the branding of their invitations. Not only did we provide branded postcards, the booth's welcome screens were also branded to match everything else. We brought two of our booths last night and both were instant hits! Our Legacy booth provided guests with souvenir postcards of their sessions while our Soleil digital booth took part of the limelight as it was placed adjacent to the dance floor. At one point in the evening, Tim, Pop Rocks‘ keytar player even took to the booth although unknowingly not triggering either the photo or the boomerang feature offered by our booth. No worries Tim. I have it all on video. And by the way, Pop Rocks killed it for the time they were on stage! They had the dance floor rocking from start to finish!
