Whoever said that a Dia de los Muertos inspired theme wouldn't be great for a Children's Holiday Party better think again. Welcome to the colorful land of Coco! Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead.
Visitors are greeted by alebrije – a colorful Mexican folk art fantastical creature, as soon as they walk out of the elevators. Music from a mariachi band welcomes you in as the sights, sounds, and scents from the amazing food offerings fills the air. .
Gensler's space was transformed into the colorful world of Coco and it was definitely a feast for the eyes – for as long as you enjoyed the vibrant colors.
We've been waiting for the right event to use our “bloom” backdrop and tonight was that night. Everyone enjoyed the colorful floral backdrop we used which fit perfectly with the theme. As an added bonus, we set up dueling booths with our Lux booth to make great use of our double sided backdrop.
Lux was an instant hit! Everyone LOVED it and we're glad we brought it along.
