It's December 2017 and I receive an inquiry from Danyelle regarding her upcoming wedding to Allan Dale. At first, her name didn't ring a bell but as I ran through the questionnaire she filled out, I noticed that I was referred by my sister. Then it clicked. Her fiance, Allan Dale, was someone I had met in 2015 when my nephew asked if I could take some photos of his karate family. Allan Dale was his sensei. My sister said it best on a recent Facebook post:
It all started out as a Master-Student relationship between Allan Dale and Jake. He was someone Jake respected, looked up to and admired. Over the years and through hundreds of weeks of martial arts classes, their relationship developed into that of an older & younger brother, and Danyelle was a welcomed part of that equation. When it was time for Jake to select a sponsor for Confirmation, he only had one in mind: Allan Dale. Danyelle has claimed Noah soon after he was born, since she said Jake is Allan Dale’s, so when it was time to pick a ring bearer, they only had Noah in mind. We “warned” them then that it just verified that they are now family to us and no family parties are complete without the two of them.
So on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in May, Mother Nature was kind enough to put on a good show – no rain despite rain in the forecast. They celebrated at Domenico Winery, a hidden little gem in San Carlos, CA that harks the look and feel of the old wineries of Napa and Sonoma but without the long drive. I loved the set up among the French Oak barrels and high vaulted ceilings. Domenico Winery has that rustic industrial vibe that was a welcome surprise.
We brought out our Legacy and Soleil booths and both were a huge hit! I personally think our Soleil booth took the majority of the booth limelight! Everyone loved the boomerang feature of the booth and the most common comment was “I love how smooth the video is”!

Danyelle and Allan Dale are family and this is what family does best… laugh and enjoy each other's company! Marriage can be fun, crazy, and unpredictable, so strap in and enjoy the ups and downs of this roller coaster ride. Congratulations on your marriage and we'll see you at the next family gathering!
